Most scripts are in PHP and are very easy to install and well documented. Some basic knowledge of HTML is required in order to work with these scripts. In April 2007, the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) approved the applications of certain domain registries to increase their prices. Domain registries are the private companies which manage the registration, technical operations and control the allocation policies of the TLD’s for which it is responsible.

Domain registries VeriSign, Afilias, Neulevel and Public Interest Registry applied for and received price increases and have announced they will be raising their wholesale prices to all ICANN-accredited registrars.

In light of that decision, Brontobytes will be adjusting its Domain name pricing on Tuesday, 16 October 2007 as follows:
Old Domain Pricing: €7.95/year
New Domain Pricing: €8.45/year

The company says its new plans have no limited time offer and the quality of features like support and customer service will remain above par.

The first package, which is aimed at people looking to create personal Web sites, Bronto 01, offers 500MB of disk storage, 10GB a month of data transfer and 50 email accounts, whereas the Bronto 02 offers 1GB of disk storage 20GB a month of data transfers and 100 email accounts. The third package, Bronto 03, is aimed at large enterprises and offers 2GB of disk storage, 40GB a month of data transfer and 200 email accounts.
